facebook. Let's face it. Everyone has Facebook - even your mother. Read the instructions to set up your "profile". [No, you don't really need to sign up there.]

in-character updates. Here, you can track a person's roleplay replies, and update people on your character. Have they recently gotten married, for example? Post it under the updates. Recently broken up with? Same deal!
